Do you like ocean?
Do you like ocean with plenty of sunshine all year round?
Do you like Formula One Grand Prix?
Do you like sailing everyday?
Do you like gambling every night?
If you have ‘Yes’ for all questions, correction, if you have ‘Yes’ for >50% of the above questions, then Monaco is your place!!
Monaco is one of the destinations of my Italy trip in 2007.
It’s the world’s most densely populated sovereign country, and the world’s smallest French-speaking country. An average person takes only 56 minutes to walk across the width of the country.
Most people don’t care much about the detailed of the countries that they visit or read. But then since you’re reading the blog, might as well try to absorb some information to show off how knowledgeable you’re.
So I’m going to put down some boring but good to know information:
Location: Located between the South of France and Italy, right on the Mediterranean Ocean. Size: The country is only about two squared kilometres in area, but still boasts a population of over 30,000 people, making it the most populated country in the world.
It’s the second smallest country in the world after Vatican.
It’s famed for:
@~ Tax Haven
@~ Playgroud for the party-friendly billionaires, with it’s renowned Monte Carlo Casino.
@~ The Grand Prix is another major part of Monaco too, but it does boast many other exciting sports and activities.

All rich and famous pack into this small country.
Even the port is packed with boats.
Monaco with one of the best yacht harbours in the world.
You don’t call yourself rich if you don’t at least own a boat.
A two bedroom 95m2 (1000 square feet) with a terrace of 23m2 (247 square feet) apartment in Monte Carlo with views of the casino and the Grand Prix circuit is 1,900,000 Euros.
A three bedroom 229m2 (2400 square feet) with a terrace of 79m2 (850 square feet) apartment is 4,950,000 Euros.

Took a lot of pictures of the sail boats because Don loves sailing… haha…
Monaco is surrounded by the ocean. For those who love ocean and luxury life, here is your ideal place to live.
Luxury cars are just everywhere in Monaco.

We wandered around outside of the casino but I didn’t take any pictures. Back to that time I haven’t started blogging, so pictures weren’t that important to me :-p
Suitable attire is expected in Monte Carlo casino also, like jacket and tie, no shorts or flip flops. The current admission price is 10 Euros. That’s why we didn’t enter casino. I’m only earning Ringgit Malaysia which is too pathetic to spend that 10 Euros.
In fact there was nothing much to do in Monte Carlo.
We just wandered around doing nothing.
While Evelyn and I had nothing to do, my mum and her friend went for shopping.
We spotted this super cool box to keep your baby teeth.
Once again, look at this place which is jam-packed like sardin.

I went there last winter, and it was so..sunny! It feels like a tropical place for me!
It’s a really beautiful country, but it feels like a toy city for me. Everything there is so modern and high class.
Heard that only Monaco residents are allowed to own properties there. =)

Hi, I went there during winter time also. Yup, it was sunny, but not hot, that’s why I like it.
hmm… I don’t think so that only Monaco residents can own the properties there. Unless all the world’s wealthiest people are from Monaco.
