A Stopover at The Great Ocean Road

Continue from my post about the leisure drive along The Great Ocean Road, we stopped by a small town just to admire the beautiful lake. The warm autumn sunlight spread across the still waters of the lake. It was a beautiful day to soak up the sunshine and enjoy the tranquility of the nature.
Few local families having picnic next to the lake. It reminded me of my memorable picnic long ago at KLCC park with some homemade breakfast and juices. Believe me, KLCC park is a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of big cities. When I was still intoxicated in my memory of the days when picnic was usual outdoor activity for me and Don, a man passed by interfered with my thoughts. The man was running his dog along the lake. He threw the stick into the water and the dog just jumped into the lake to catch the stick. I then diverted my thoughts to imagining my life after retired. I might be doing the same thing walking my dogs and squirrels in the park.
The butterflies tossed about in the light on the edge of the lake. It suddenly dawned on me that this place resembled the fairyland that I dreamed about during my childhood. A wooden house in front of a beautiful lake with goats and horses running freely in the lush green field behind the house. A dream place where my loved one and myself stay happily ever forever. A typical teenager’s dream ^_^
My mum love photographing and I automatically became her model. She directed me the way I posed and snapped several photos of me with the beautiful lake. This is the best photo that I like the most.
If you observed the ground, you would find different wild plants that you don’t usually see in the tropical country of Malaysia.
Look like snowflake huh?
The ground was studded with mushrooms. Wonder if they are edible.
A short stopover in this beautiful lake will be enshrined in my memory forever.

yeah klcc park is nice

Agree! The perfect place to hold a picnic! This place reminds me of Paya Indah Wetlands. But the weather over there is UNBEARABLE – hot like h***! Run for cover
