Balut ~ Fertilized Duck Egg

Before Don flew to Manila, I kept reminding him to try Balut and bring back some for me.

Balut

Balut – a fertilized duck egg with a partially developed duckling, which is eaten boiled. According to Filipino, Balut is a very nutritious food but apparently it doesn’t sound convincing to non-Filipinos.

I have no idea how many hands are there in the picture. I supposed the hands belong to Don. He said Balut tastes exactly like normal egg which I kinda doubt it. But guess what?? He left the eggs that he bought for me in his colleague’s house for more than 1 week that we believed the eggs had gone bad.

I DIDN’T GET TO TASTE IT!!!

So now I can’t tell exactly how it tastes like but to believe Don that it tastes no different from normal eggs.

Don, you OWE me BALUT!!

So this time at least bring me some grasshoppers that you have eaten in Bangkok.

Personal experience in uni? Enjoy your uni life!!

Coz once you step out to the society to join the employee clubs, you will start missing your uni life.

Enjoy your freedom now as a student :-)
