Captivating Night View from K Residence

Visited my uncle’s condominium in K Residence yesterday night. The night view was absolutely captivating. I tried to snap some photos with night mode WITHOUT tripod. The result is, ALL ARE CRAPS, except this, the only acceptable picture that can be showed off.

Spectacular, isn’t it? It would be even more stunning if I own a DSLR, or at least a tripod.
So without tripod, I had to try very hard to stabilize my camera by holding it with my shaky little hands. But the WIND was so STRONG that it just turned my task into mission impossible.

My uncle told me they can actually view as far as the statue in Batu Caves during day time. I was like ‘sure or not?’, Batu Caves is so far away from Avenue K and even though the status is huge, but it isn’t as big as twin towers that can be visible from far. Anyway, I wouldn’t know until I have a chance to visit it again during day time.

Just some brief info about K Residence, in case you’re interested to own one. K Residence is a 50-storey luxury residential property facing the Petronas Twin Towers, built above Avenue K.

Location : KLCC

What a looooooong balcony of the condominium. (I know picture quality sucks)

You can walk all the way to the other side of the balcony which the twin towers and the KL tower are just right in front of your sight.

So tempted to take the pictures again with the tripod.

    Awesome!

When without tripod, try lean ur camera against smtg static. U may try using timer to avoid the shake when u press the snap button ;)

Nice night scene of KLCC area :) the blurry effect can be reduce by what LZ said. I think the grainy photos probably due to high ISO setting by the camera. The higher the ISO the higher the noise.

  • Shelyn says:

    Didn’t know about that :p

I set it in high ISO in the morning to take pictures in the forest. Later at night I just snapped the photos without changing the setting.

    Thanks LZ and Ben ^_^
