We visited around after the International Dragon Boat Festival. The man made lake was made like a beach just right in front of Pullman Hotel & Resort. Pullman Putrajaya Lakeside was opened in March 2009, which is located right next to the convention centre. The sand is fine and clean, it wasn’t too crowded, only a few families with kids having fun in the water. Pullman Hotel & Resort is huge with 283 rooms. It is crafted to depict architecture and ambiances that are distinctively ethnic Malays, Chinese, Indian and of the Borneo continent. It was so tranquil that I [...]

Batu Caves is one of Malaysia’s most famous tourist destinations. Every year hundreds of thousands of Hindu devotees congregate here for the colourful Thaipusam festival. Since I stay pretty close to Batu Caves, I have been there uncountable times (coz I never count) ever since I was a kid. Don and I decided to visit Batu Caves early in the morning just to work out by climbing the stairs. I was quite excited too, I have not been to Batu Caves for many years and I was really curious how much has it changed. Well, apparently this is the only [...]

It’s Christmas Day. We woke up at about noon time didn’t know what to do. But we didn’t want to spend our Christmas day at home or in the shopping malls. So I told Don:“Why don’t we scream the place down?”“How?”“Scream Park!!” The huge signage always caught my eyes whenever I drove through Sunway. I have been wondering how eerie it is and can it really scares the pants off me. So we googled it. Prison Break ‘Live’ sounds interesting. With the clock ticking, we must break out from the disorienting labyrinth which is full of frightening surprises, both real [...]

My ex-colleague, Andre, had his wedding dinner in Seremban. Even though it’s only about 45 mins drive to Seremban, we would still like to take this opportunity to explore the attractions in Seremban. After consulting Andre, who was born in Seremban, grew up in Seremban, we were told that there is no attraction in Seremban -_-” Ultimately, we concluded that we can’t rely on others so we did research online and found this Jelita Ostrich Farm which holds the Malaysian Book Of Records as the first ostrich farm in Malaysia! The farm is located at the Seremban-Jelebu Road (Jalan Pantai), [...]

In my previous post I mentioned about visiting zoo as one of my weekend plans in Aug 2008 and I really did it I was supposed to go hiking with my boyfriend yesterday but the hiking trail in Bukit Saga that we planned to go was closed. We ended up visiting Zoo Negara that sounds like a historical term to us. My boyfriend said he wanna take some pictures of the animals and report to the animal abuse society because he had a feeling that the animals in Zoo Negara weren’t properly taken care of. I actually doubted that Zoo [...]
