We Wanna Scream in Christmas Day
Posted on Jan 03 in Malaysia Exploration, Other Interesting Placesby ShelynPrint
It’s Christmas Day. We woke up at about noon time didn’t know what to do. But we didn’t want to spend our Christmas day at home or in the shopping malls.
So I told Don:
“Why don’t we scream the place down?”
“How?”
“Scream Park!!”
The huge signage always caught my eyes whenever I drove through Sunway. I have been wondering how eerie it is and can it really scares the pants off me.
So we googled it.
Besides the Prison Break ‘Live’ experience, there are three other exciting attractions within Lynton V Harris’ Scream Park, ANGOSCIA THEATER experience, The Terror Tunnel in 3D, and ‘Rumah Hantu’ in 3DX.
I was extremely excited as watching horror movies is my hobby, not to mention experience it in real. Don seemed excited too, which didn’t really make sense to me.
“I thought you don’t like horror movies, you never want to watch them.”
“Yeah, I don’t like horror movies. Those movies ghosts are way scarier than the real ghosts.”
… -_-” (Define real ghosts)
So deal, we are going to Scream Park with NO REGRET! Even though the ticket is freaking expensive, RM45 per pax!!
It was already 2:00 p.m., Sunway Lagoon actually closes at 6:00 p.m. So Don was worried if we have enough time in the Scream Park. I was like… 3 hours is way too long in a scream park man. Don’t be deceived by the over-exaggerated advertisement, I bet it probably takes only 1 hour to finish.
So we quickly packed up and headed towards Sunway Lagoon. In fact I had nothing to pack, I didn’t bring anything at all and I was in Don’s house. I didn’t even have a shorts or pants, I was wearing jean skirt. But I don’t think visiting scream park requires me to climb or jump or swim or run or whatsoever. So jean skirt should be fine.
Without wasting anymore time, we reached Sunway Lagoon at 3:00p.m. sharp. Thanks God that the line wasn’t long at all. Yeah, what we expect, it was already 3:00p.m.
WHAT?? 20 minutes!!
“Ok… what is our Plan B?” I asked Don.
“Ok… that’s our Plan B.” Don said.
Sounds cool… with 3 more Ringgit, we get to access to 2 parks including Scream Park!!
We got the map from the counter and were quite excited that we would visit Wild Wild West and World of Adventure. Too bad I didn’t bring extra clothes or swimsuit, or else we would have covered Water of Africa also.
It wasn’t really cute so we didn’t bother to look and walked towards Scream Park entrance.
We quickly made our move to The Lost City of Gold.
But I wasn’t very satisfied with Sunway Lagoon roller coaster ride. It’s just an easy one with only one short dive. Maybe 2, but the second one definitely doesn’t count.
We missed this Wagon Wheel.
This water ride completely made me wet with the water splashed from everywhere.
It moved pretty fast and kept spinning made me dizzy. I tried to snap some photos while spinning. I never tell this kid to look at the camera but looks like he enjoys to be photographed.
This is an easy relaxing water ride. And yet people still screamed like they were chased by Buffalo.
I told Don that Anne’s friend had this terrifying experience before that someone threw up in the middle of the ride and the puke was all over Anne’s friend’s body.
Don looked terrified.
Don was like overly excited that he kept talking about what would happen if we puked at this point of time and angle. For any degree that the ship swung, he came out with the analysis of where the puke would land at.
I felt quite disturbing.

The other day Don said he wanna ride it. Not sure if I will go again.
